Our Philosophy: RESEARCH MICRO is committed to transparency, objectivity, and fairness, always considering the perspectives of both authors and reviewers.
Our goal is simple: to publish high-quality, reproducible science. Editors remain approachable and open to discussion at every stage, before, during, and after review, to help authors present their best work.
RESEARCH MICRO publishes only short-format manuscripts that communicate significant findings supported by solid, independent lines of evidence. The journal welcomes studies that either confirm or refute previous claims in scientific literature, and well-designed null or negative results that address meaningful scientific questions in biomedical sciences.
Article types: Original research articles, Methods, and Opinions. Please Review submission guidelines for each article type.
We welcome submissions across all areas of biomedical science, including but not limited to:
Molecular Biology and Biochemistry
Cell Biology and Genetics
Developmental Biology
Physiology and Pathophysiology
