Submission Guidelines for Research Article
Manuscript info & Word Limit
The Research Article should mention the clear description and importance of research findings.
The manuscript length is 5000 words or less, including references, tables and figure legends.
include one or maximum of two figures, or one figure and one table
The main text file should be submitted as word document (.docx format), 12-font, single-spaced and lines should be numbered continuously.
Organizing your article sections:
Title: Title must be informative, self-explanatory and must clearly describe the presented research work. Avoid abbreviations and please include major keywords in the title.
Author full names with affiliations: Author's First & Last name should be followed by numbered superscript to represent corresponding affiliations. Indicate corresponding author with a superscript star. Affiliations should contain author's department, university/hospital/institution and country.
Short running title: Provide 40 racters long running title that best represents the submitted research work.
Corresponding Author address with email address: Corresponding author(s) details, including Full name, Department, University, State and Country, contact work phone number and E-mail address must be mentioned.
Abstract: The submitted manuscript must contain an unstructured abstract (less than 300 words) that briefly describes the objective / hypotheses of the work, methods used, observed findings and conclusions. Abstract should not contain any citations. Please use main keywords in the abstract.
Keywords: Provide 5-7 keywords most commonly used within the manuscript. Use MeSH tool to help identify medical related words. Keywords enhance the chances of your manuscript being discovered during online search and attract more readership and citations. eg: Heart, Lung fibrosis; inflammation; Biomarkers, Cancer therapy etc.
Introduction: In the Introduction section, the authors should include a strong background for the study and clearly state the problem(s) being explored and purpose of the study.
Materials & Methods: The authors should provide detailed procedures if the techniques are new. If the methodology has been applied from well established procedures, it should be cited. Authors must provide sufficient information for replicating the presented experimental findings. Authors are encouraged to provide detailed methods in supplementary file that must to uploaded to www.figshare.com and DOI link should be provided in the main text file.
Results and Discussion: This section should present the results and interpretations of the experiments described above. In the Results section, authors must present their findings in the form of text, tables, or figures. Tables and figures should be original, clear, and accompanied by informative and appropriate captions. SI (International System of Units) units must be used for all measurements. Authors should provide clear and accessible explanations to support their findings. Repetition of the results should be avoided.
Conclusions: Conclusions should clearly describe the author's interpretation, highlights and limitations of the study.
Acknowledgement: Individuals who do not meet criteria for authorship should be listed in the acknowledgment section along with a brief description of their contributions (please see ICMJE and COPE guidelines for authorship). Acknowledgment represents endorsement, we assume a written permission from acknowledged individuals has been obtained by the authors.
Conflict of Interest Statement: Authors are responsible for disclosing financial support from the industry or other conflicts of interest that might potentially bias the interpretation of the results. If no financial or non-financial competing interests exist, please state "The authors declare no potential conflicts of interest" in this section. If a conflict of interest exist, please complete the ICMJE Conflict of Interest form, which must be submitted along with the manuscript files.
Funding support: Authors should include research funding support in this section.
Data Availability Statement: The authors must submit a data availability statement indicating the author who takes responsibility for communication related to the data presented in the published manuscript (Please provide their email address).
Authors Contribution statement: Authors should include author contribution statement to enhance transparency. Please indicate the type of contribution that each author has made.
Tables: Submitted tables must be in Word (.docx) format. Each table must contain a brief title, placed above the table with the table number. The legend and annotations should be placed below the table and abbreviations should be clearly described.
Figures and figure legends: A maximum of only 8 figures should be submitted as single PDF file for initial peer-review. Figures must be labeled "Figure 1, Figure 2 etc). Figure legends must be mentioned below each figure.
References
A maximum of 25 references could be included.
The journal uses numbered referencing style [standard biomedical format called as "Vancouver style"). Reference style is described in US NLM guide and recommended by International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE)].
In-text citation should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals and in parentheses, [e.g. (13)].
Digital Object Identifier (DOI) numbers must be included where available.
Do not include unpublished items.
Abbreviate journal names in the style used in the NLM Catalog.
References are listed in numerical order, and in the same order in which they are cited in-text.
Examples of references (Journal article, books etc) are available in the US NLM guide.
Supplementary File: The authors are encouraged to include detailed methodology in a supplementary file and has to be submitted as a single file to www.figshare.com. This section should list the items included in supplementary file and the DOI link to the shared Figshare file should be provided in this section.
